Born August 3, 1967 in Riga, Latvia.

He is a singer, a composer, a producer and a teacher. He has a wife Lilita and two sons, Karlis and Krists.

Valdis is well-known in Latvia as an author of Christian music and songs.

He started to learn music when he was 12 years old. Now he cooperates with many popular musicians of Latvia.

Valdis became a Christian in 1990 and shortly after his conversion started to write Christian songs. And in 1998 he gathered first professional Christian music group in Latvia. He continuously participates in different Christian events and concerts not only in Latvia but in other countries too. As worship leader and a teacher and a speaker he visited many churches of different denominations. He presented concerts, led worship and gave teaching in Latvia, USA, UK, Norway, Denmark, Holland, Sweden, Poland and Lithuania.

In Latvia Valdis is praise and worship leader in Mathew church in Riga.

He produced many music project, the biggest of those are two praise and worship albums of Mathew church. Now Valdis works as music producer in recording studio of Latvian Christian Radio. Also he is a worker of “Youth with a Mission” in Latvia.

Valdis recorded and published 5 solo albums in Latvian language and 4 in English:

In 2007 Valdis accepted from Andrej Vesnin an invitation to participate in recording of “Stop Dreaming!” album and also in presentation program of the album and recording of DVD. Valdis rendered invaluable help in these activities where he played acoustic guitar perfectly and made orchestration for singers.
